Who Are The Quranists
Sh. Salih Al-Fawzan :
The Quranists, who reject the Sunnah, refuse to act upon the Hadiths and say: ‘We do not act except by the Quran.’ These people have lied, for they have not truly acted by the Quran, because Allah say in the Quran: “And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it).1 And fear Allâh; verily, Allâh is Severe in punishment.” (al-Hashr 59:7)
And Allah the Almighty say to His Prophet: ‘With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) the Dhikr [reminder and the advice (i.e. the Qur’ân)], that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them,…‘ (an-Nahl 16:44)
If the Sunnah is abolished, how then is the Quran made clear? What [else] would explain the Quran?
The Sunnah of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is a clarification of the Quran and an explanation of it.
As for those who reject the Sunnah—if they do so intentionally—this constitutes a denial of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and this would be [an act of] disbelief. As for those who are ignorant or blindly following others, this matter should be clarified and explained to them.
القرآنيون الذين ينكرون السنة ينكرون العمل بالأحاديث ويقولون ما نعمل إلا بالقرآن ، هؤلاء كذبوا فإنهم لم يعملوا بالقرآن لأن الله قال في القرآن: (( وما أتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب )) ، وقال جل وعلا لنبيه: (( وأنزلنا إليك الذكر لتبين للناس ما نزل إليهم )) ، فإذا ألغيت السنة كيف يبين القرآن ما الذي يفسر القرآن ؟ سنة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم فهي بيان للقرآن ومفسرة للقرآن ، والذين ينكرون السنة هؤلاء إن كانوا متعمدين لذلك هذا تكذيب للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم فيكون هذا كفر ، أما إذا كانوا جهالاً ومقلدين فيبين لهم ويشرح لهم هذا الأمر
